Road Closure Extends on Wednesday, Nov. 8

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, the project team will extend the existing construction zone beginning east of Vincennes Boulevard all the way to east of SE 15th Avenue. This extension of the construction zone will end just west of the entrance into Euro Plaza (located just east of SE 15th Avenue).

Crews will perform curbing and roadway construction in this zone with the goal of completing it by mid-November. Schedule is subject to change based on availability and delivery of materials and weather conditions.

Drivers CAN access businesses in this block by parking in Big John’s Plaza. Please see directions for detour route below.

Areas marked in orange are active construction zones blocked to all traffic, except for the intersection at SE 8th Court, which will be closed to traffic this week, opening the morning of Saturday, Nov. 10. Currently drivers CAN drive through the project limits and follow the detour signage to reach all businesses in the corridor. Drivers can use the Vincennes Boulevard roundabout and can travel north, south and west at the roundabout.

Customers can call (239) 676-3462 for directions to access businesses.
