Traffic Shift in effect for sewer installation across 10th Place & SE 47th intersection

Beginning Monday, June 18, crews are actively installing sewer line on the south side of the intersection at 10th Place and SE 47th Terrace. Flaggers are on site to help direct traffic to navigate around the active construction zone.

The project team anticipates keeping one lane of traffic open with flagger direction for traffic traveling north and south through the intersection. This traffic detour should be in place for 3 to 4 business days during active construction hours. In the evenings, the construction areas will be backfilled and the intersection will be open for travel. Vehicles can also travel east and west through the intersection and should follow flagger direction.

Please use caution and travel slowly when driving in the construction zone, and please watch for crews. Flaggers will help direct you to where you need to go.

Following the installation of the sewer line, crews will install irrigation line next.
