Tree Removal Resumes 11th Place to Vincennes Blvd

Construction crews will resume tree removal work on Tuesday, May 1st in the City’s Right of Way on the north and south side of SE 47th Terrace from 11th Place to Vincennes Boulevard.

Only trees that are in the City’s Right of Way will be removed, and we ask that all vehicles be removed from on-street parking in this block while work is underway to provide room for the crew to remove heavy limbs from the trees.

Tree Removal
Removal of trees within the project limits is necessary to create access for crews to install underground utility improvements including a new water main, and to establish new, widened pavered paths.

Once tree removal has been completed, on-street parking from 11th Place to Vincennes Blvd. will be re-established until underground utility work progresses into the block.

The public is encouraged to use on-street parking on 11th Place, the Club Square City Parking Lot and the “Iguana Mia” City Parking Lot south of the LeeTran Bus Transfer Station at the SW Corner of SE 47th Terrace and 8th CT.
